Besides
the attractive surroundings, the country inn Wirtshaus Spundloch is famous for
its excellent cuisine. Regional dishes prepared to perfection take a prominent
place on the menu, supplemented by
seasonal highlights. Besides asparagus and venison, the Spundloch cuisine puts
emphasize on special themes. Furthermore, our house is one of the especially
active members of Paul Enghofer’s Old-Time Bavarian Specialties Club. Catering
to all tastes, Spundloch has also acquired a reputation as a place for
celebrations and family come-togethers.
The
Wirtshaus Spundloch offers much room in several cosy guest rooms running into
each other, for example the fire place room or the Cellarman’s room. Not only
the attentive service but also the flower arrangements and the carefully chosen
pictures and wine utensils decorating the walls make our guests feel at home
here.
Above
all those who love their ‘Schoppen’, the glass of open wine, will enjoy the
clearly organized wine menu offering not less than 20 open wines of almost all
grape types. The Wirtshaus Spundloch is supplied by leading independent wine
growers and wine growers’ associations in Franconia. Thanks to the extensive
selection in our cellars, the Spundloch is well equipped for our own wine
tastings.
